Alert Setup

This screen is designed to improve user experience and productivity through the timely delivery of messages. These messages are generated and distributed to system users in the form of reminders, alerts, and notifications.

Prerequisites

  • No prerequisites for this window.

Rules and Guidelines

  • The features described on this page will only be available in the new enhanced desktop.
  • The existing message server functionality (used for job completion messages and IRS Crystal On Demand reports) will continue to be supported in the classic (IE only) desktop.

  • The messaging system is reliant on the session management engine to track active user sessions for the purpose of routing messages.

Field Information

ClosedTemplate

Select from the dropdown the template ID you would like to use.

ClosedAlert Name*

This field displays the description the user will see when selecting a particular template. This field can hold up to 50 characters.

ClosedSpecify alert Criteria

Enter in this field the parameters that need to be filled in when setting the alert (e.g. The number of days before passport expiry).

ClosedRecipients who will receive this alert

Tick the check box to choose the recipients who will receive that particular alert.
